A Cello for Chelsea

Join Margaret and the fantastic sounds of the cello on an
inspirational musical journey. Chelsea is an imaginative and shy
young girl who discovers her musical ability and love of the cello,
when she meets Chester the Cello. This piece is performed,
composed, authored, and arranged by Margaret Munro
Tobolowska. Margaret, a cellist with the National Arts Centre
Orchestra, is passionate about inspiring children through her
performance and storytelling.












GRADES: K - 3 MAXIMUM: 100 students
1 PERFORMANCE: 50 mins (including Q and A) $255 + GST
2 PERFORMANCES: same school in one half day $415 + GST
2 PERFORMANCES: same school in one day $455 + GST

Margaret will donate a copy of her CD ‘A Cello for Chelsea’ to
the school, at the end of her performance.
                               
CURRICULUM LINKS Introducing the string section of the
orchestra, how music tells a story and creates pictures that can be
expressed by art, dance and creative movement, the importance of
music in our lives.
